Dining

Visiting the central mountain range of Puerto Rico is like travelling to a different island, so it's no surprise that it’s a region with its own distinct take on Puerto Rican cuisine. Head to the mountains for more traditional tasty dishes like the famous roast pork served in the lecheronas (open-air restaurants with a cafeteria style set up) – you can typically only get this in the Puerto Rican countryside.
